Dad’s Challenge!

Dad, christportrait.jpg

Do not underestimate the importance of your cultivating your family’s spiritual appetite.

Yes, you cultivate it. Fathers, listen up: Your wife and kids long for you to be their spiritual pacesetter. Children love knowing that their dad loves God, walks with God, and talks about God. Never underestimate your role as the spiritual head. If your wife is running circles around you in this area, or if neither of you set the spiritual tone in the house, don’t think the kids don’t notice, and wonder.

Ready for a challenge? Begin to spend time with God, become a man of prayer, help your family know how deeply you love Christ and desire to honor Him. You will change the dynamics of your family by blessing them for generations to come.

Why not start today? C’mon, Dad . . . it’s one of the greatest gifts any father can give a family.

  1. My dad rocks!

  2. Dear Mr. Randy,
My Dad has accepted the challenge to become a man of prayer. At first he thought that he actually did it. Then I started talking to him and he realized that anybody can improve. It took a while to find this blog, but I am glad we did and so is my Dad. Now we have it saved as one of our favorites.

    Michael
